Not medical care

Gut & Calm is an educational companion. It does not diagnose, treat or replace a qualified clinician, and nothing in it — including Sage and meal analysis — is medical advice. Always discuss tests, supplements, diets and treatments with your doctor.

If you have blood in your stool, unexplained weight loss, symptoms that wake you at night, fever or persistent vomiting, or you're over 50 with new symptoms, see a doctor promptly. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Your account

• You can use most features without an account; Sage and meal analysis need one.
• You sign in with Apple, Google, Microsoft, or an email and password. Keep that account secure — anyone with access to it can see your Gut & Calm data.
• You must be at least 18 to create an account.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

AI features

Sage and meal analysis are generated by AI models. They can misidentify foods, miss ingredients or be wrong in other ways — check anything important. To keep the service available for everyone, AI features have daily usage limits, which we may change.

Subscriptions

• Gut & Calm is available with a subscription, bought on our website. It includes the whole app: your plan, Seven Sessions, Sage and meal analysis.
• You're charged the price shown at checkout when you buy, and your plan starts straight away. The subscription renews automatically every billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime under Manage subscription on your account page; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting your account also cancels your subscription.
• If we offer a money-back guarantee, its conditions are shown before you buy. If we change the price of your plan, we'll tell you before it applies to you.
• If you live in the EU or UK, you can withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of buying it. By starting your plan straight away you ask us to begin providing it during that period; if you withdraw after a paid period has started, we may keep a fair share for the time you had access, as the law allows.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no attempts to break or overload it, access other people's data, or use the AI features to generate harmful content or for anything unrelated to your own gut health.

Your content

What you log stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you, as described in our privacy policy.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Gut & Calm running and your data safe, but the app is provided "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. Keep a backup export if your logs are important to you. We may update the app and these terms; if a change is significant we'll let you know in the app.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you use Gut & Calm as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
